Treatment Simulations

A treatment simulation in SureSmile is a 3D model of the patient's treatment objective representing a specific treatment approach. It allows you to explore treatment alternatives before deciding on a specific setup prescription. In SureSmile you can create simulations based on a diagnostic model, a therapeutic model (mid-treatment model just prior to SureSmile treatment) and a final model. Each of these simulations is described in detail below.

The Treatment Simulation features are available when the patient record includes a diagnostic or therapeutic model. Start a new treatment simulation to examine the current malocclusion and evaluate treatment alternatives. You can create and save multiple treatment simulations. To use the most efficient steps for producing a simulation, simulate your treatment objectives based on the following boundary conditions:

When you are ready to order a setup prescription, you can select the simulation that represents your treatment objectives.
